Energy Use in UNH Buildings
UNH has signed the American College & University President's Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) and has pledged to reduce campus greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2050 and ultimately achieve carbon neutrality. President Mark Huddleston has asked the UNH community to reduce its energy costs by 5% a year. To reach these goals, UNH must implement energy conservation programs across campus.
You can do your part by downloading, printing and posting the Energy Cost Poster for your residence hall, on-campus apartment or building to promote energy conservation so that UNH can reach its goals and reduce its carbon footprint. Get involved in the Student Energy Challenge and make sure that you Power Down everytime you are not using your electronic equipment. Thank you for joining us in our commitment to make UNH a sustainable learning community.
To view the current energy consumption in your building in real time, go to: Real Time Building Energy Meters
Below are links to Power Point slides of the energy posters for each building on campus. They are in alphabetical order.
If you do not wish to download this, you can view our facebook photo album!
